Mars- The Rusty Red Planet

Mars

Type of Planet: Terrestrial planet

What Should I Pack? Get ready for this rustic colored, carbon dioxide filled, and iron made up planet of fun! Mars weather on average is -80 degrees F, but can get down to -195 degrees F. If you like cold weather then you will most likely love it here. Be prepared!

What if I Move There? If you move here you will get to experience the long days and years of Mars. This planet has an orbit of 687 earth days, as well as a rotation time equal to 1 earth year.

What to see! While you're here be sure to look for Mars two moons, Phobos and Deimos. What's cool about these two moons however, is that Phobos rises and sets in the east twice a day, while Deimos takes almost 3 days to rise and set. Be on a look out for these moons!

While you're there: As mentioned before, Mars has two moons. They're one of the most popular and most talked about things to see. So while you're here you must see them.

Other things to know about your destination: Mars seasons are twice as long as Earth's. I believe that would be another cool experience. Mars is also known as the Red Planet, due to it's red and rustic color.
